How everything works
How to add a template
To create a template in WordPress:
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard.
- On the left sidebar, navigate to Document Templates.
- Click on Add New Post.
- A new template will open.
- Start adding your desired content.
- From the right-side Merge Tags menu, select the form you created (use the filter to find it easily).
- Drag and drop or copy and paste the necessary tags onto your template.
- Click Publish to save the template.
Your new template is ready to be used.
How to add a form
To create a new form in WordPress:
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard.
- On the left sidebar, navigate to Forms and click on New Form.
- Choose Blank Form.
- Enter a descriptive title for the form and click Create Blank Form.
- The form editor will open, showing the available fields on the right side.
- Drag and drop the desired fields onto the form.
- Choose from various field types like Date, String, and List.
- Make fields required if necessary.
- Click Save Form to complete the process.
Your new custom form is now ready to be used.
How to add shortcut on a page
To add the generated shortcode for your form to a new page:
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to Pages and click on Add New Page.
- Give the page a title.
- In the page editor, add a shortcode block.
- Paste the shortcode you copied from the form creation process.
- Click Publish to save the page.
This will create a new page with your form embedded, allowing you to collect entries.

- Click Edit to open the editor.
- Use the visual or text editor to create your desired footer content.
- Set the footer height in millimeters to prevent overlapping with the main content.
- Click Update to save the changes.
Your new custom footer is now ready to be used.

To add a custom header in WordPress:
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard.
- On the left sidebar, navigate to Document Templates and click on headers.
- Click Add New Tag to create a new header.
- Enter a name for the header and click Add New Tag.
- Click Edit to open the editor.
- Use the visual or text editor to create your desired header content.
- Set the header height in millimeters to prevent overlapping with the main content.
- Click Update to save the changes.
Your new custom header is now ready to be used.
How to add a header and footer in a template
To add a header and footer to a WordPress template:
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard.
- On the left sidebar, navigate to Document Templates.
- Select the template you want to modify and click Edit.
- The template editor will open.
- On the right side, under Document Template Editor, you’ll see three drop-down menus.
- Header: Choose the desired header from the first drop-down.
- Footer: Choose the desired footer from the second drop-down.
- Font: Select your preferred font from the Google Fonts library in the third drop-down.
- Title Alignment: Choose the desired alignment for the title.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Your template now has the specified header, footer, font, and title alignment.
How to add a second template
To create a second template in WordPress:
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard.
- On the left sidebar, navigate to Document Templates.
- Click on Add New Post.
- A new template will open.
- Start adding your desired content and tags.
- From the right-side Merge Tags menu, select the form you created.
- Drag and drop the necessary tags onto your template.
- Click Publish to save the template.
This new template can be used to generate multiple documents with the same information, which is helpful for tasks like hiring new employees.
How to add an entry
To add an entry to a WordPress form:
- Go to the page where you posted the form.
- Click View to open the form page.
- Fill out the form with the required information.
- Click Submit to send the entry.
Your first entry is now added to the form.
This process is helpful when you need to create multiple contracts with different people’s information. You can collect the details using the form and then generate the corresponding PDFs in bulk.
How to add a second entry
To add a second entry to a WordPress form:
- Open the form you previously created.
- Fill out all the required fields with the necessary information.
- Click Submit to send the entry.
This will add a second entry to your form.
How to generate multiple templates for one entry
To generate multiple templates for one entry in WordPress:
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard.
- On the left sidebar, navigate to Docs From Template.
- Click on Export Template or Templates from Entry.
- Select the desired entry from the dropdown menu.
- Hold Shift while clicking on the templates you want to generate.
- Click Export to PDF.
The archive containing the selected templates will be downloaded for your use.
How to generate one template for multiple entries
To generate one template for multiple entries in WordPress:
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard.
- On the left sidebar, navigate to Docs From Template.
- Click on Export Entry or Entries from Template.
- Select the desired template from the dropdown menu.
- Hold Shift while clicking on the entries you want to generate templates for.
- Click Export to PDF.
The archive containing the selected templates will be downloaded for your use.
